Super Hero Fit Kids Squats!

How to do them:

Stand facing each other, feet hip width, holding hands.  Pull your shoulder blades back and down, abs tight. Smile!

The move:

Moving together, slowly squat down with your backs straight, as if you were going to sit in a chair. Hold a beat and exhale as you return to starting position. Your knees should track naturally over the toes. Inhale as you squat down, exhale as you stand back up.  

How low should I squat?

Beginners will have a limited range of motion.  As you get more flexible and your strength increases, your should be able to squat down until your upper leg is parallel to the floor.  

Tip:

Keep the knees slightly bent at the top of the motion, don’t lock out the knees.

How many?
Do 3-4 sets, 10-15 repetitions.
